Laser welding is an advantageous method of connecting or repairing metal frameworks. There are fewer effects of heating on the area surrounding the spot to be welded as laser welding produces minimum heat-affected zones (HAZ), and no further procedures, such as those used for conventional soldering, are necessary.

There are many benefits to laser welding compared to conventional welding methods, such as MIG, TIG, and electron beam welding (EBW). The concentrated heat source produced by a laser welder creates a deep, narrow beam that allows efficient, detailed welding without deforming or warping the material. In addition, VTron’s laser welders operate on a dual-beam, which makes re-tipping on various gemstones easy.
